This Cookie Policy explains how Little Moo Limited uses cookies and similar technologies on its websites and client portal, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, available at https://www.littlemoohosting.com/legal/privacy-policy/.

1. Who we Are

1.1
Our websites are operated by Little Moo Limited, a private limited company registered in England and Wales with company number 16986790, whose registered office is at Radcliffe House, Blenheim Court, Warwick Road, Solihull B91 2AA, United Kingdom.
1.2
You can contact us about this policy at contact@littlemoogroup.co.uk or on 0300 124 6935. Privacy requests and data protection complaints should be sent to privacy@littlemoogroup.co.uk.

2. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are

2.1
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies allow a website to recognise your device, remember your preferences and understand how the site is being used.
2.2
Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, software development kits, pixels, tags and scripts. In this policy, references to cookies include these technologies.
2.3
A first party cookie is set by the website you are visiting. A third party cookie is set by another organisation whose content or service is used on that website.
2.4
A session cookie is deleted when you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains on your device until it expires or you delete it.

3. The Law we Apply

3.1
Our use of cookies is governed by regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, as amended. Under that regulation we must, in general, tell you about the cookies we use and obtain your consent before storing or accessing information on your device.
3.2
The requirement to obtain consent is subject to exceptions. Consent is not required where the storage or access is strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested, and the legislation as amended provides for certain further limited exceptions. Where an exception applies, we still tell you about the technology in this policy even though we do not ask for consent. Where no exception applies, we ask for consent before the technology is used.
3.3
Where a cookie involves the processing of personal data, we also comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, in each case as amended, including by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
3.4
Consent to non-essential cookies must be freely given, specific and informed. We therefore do not set non-essential cookies before you have made a choice, we do not treat continued browsing as consent, and we make rejecting cookies as easy as accepting them.

4. Categories of Cookie we use

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for our websites and client portal to function. They enable core functionality such as page navigation, load balancing, secure log in to your account, session management, retention of items in a basket during checkout, and protection against cross site request forgery. Without them, services you have asked for cannot be provided. These cookies are set without consent, as permitted by regulation 6(4) of the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, as amended.

Functional cookies

These cookies remember choices you make, such as your preferred language, region, display settings and whether you have dismissed a notice. They improve your experience but are not essential to the service you have requested. We have chosen to ask for your consent before setting them, which is a more cautious approach than the legislation may strictly require in every case.

Security cookies

These cookies support the security of our websites and client portal, including fraud prevention, bot detection, rate limiting and the protection of log in forms. Where a security cookie is necessary to deliver a service you have requested, it is treated as strictly necessary. Where it is not, it is set only with your consent.

Analytics cookies

Where analytics are enabled, these cookies help us understand how visitors use our websites, which pages are viewed, how visitors arrived and where errors occur, so that we can improve the site. We have chosen to ask for your consent before setting analytics cookies, which is a more cautious approach than the legislation may strictly require in every case. Analytics information is used in aggregate and we do not use it to identify individual visitors.

Marketing cookies

Marketing cookies would be used to measure the effectiveness of advertising or to show advertising which is relevant to you. We use marketing cookies only where you have given appropriate consent. If you do not consent, no marketing cookie is set.

5. Cookies Set by Third Parties

5.1
Some cookies are set by third parties whose services we use, including our payment providers, our client portal software and, where enabled, our analytics provider. Those third parties may process information about your visit in accordance with their own privacy notices.
5.2
Where a page includes embedded content from a third party, such as a video player or a map, that third party may set cookies when the content loads. We block non-essential embedded content until you have consented where it is technically practicable to do so.
5.3
We do not control third party cookies and we recommend that you review the privacy and cookie notices of the relevant provider.

6. A Current List of the Cookies we use

6.1
A current list of the specific cookies in use on each of our websites, including the name of each cookie, its purpose, whether it is first or third party, and its duration, is available through the cookie preference control on the website you are visiting.
6.2
We maintain that list through our consent management tool so that it stays accurate as our websites change. If you would like the list in another format, email privacy@littlemoogroup.co.uk and we will provide it.

7. How to Manage Your Cookie Preferences

7.1
When you first visit one of our websites, a cookie banner allows you to accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose which categories you allow. Rejecting is available at the same level and with the same number of clicks as accepting.
7.2
You can change your choice at any time using the cookie preference control which is available on every page of our websites. Changing your preferences takes effect immediately for future cookie setting.
7.3
We ask for your cookie preferences again after 6 months, and sooner if we make a material change to the cookies we use.
7.4
You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent parts of our websites and client portal from working properly.
7.5
Some browsers offer a do not track or global privacy control signal. Standards in this area are still developing and we will honour a recognised opt out signal where our consent management tool supports it.

9. Changes to This Policy

9.1
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the cookies we use or to applicable law. The version number, publication date and effective date at the top of this policy show which version applies and from when, and a summary of material amendments is included there.
9.2
Where we introduce a new category of cookie which requires consent, we will ask for your consent again before setting it.

10. Contact and Complaints

10.1
If you have a question about this policy, contact us at privacy@littlemoogroup.co.uk, on 0300 124 6935, or by post at Little Moo Limited, Radcliffe House, Blenheim Court, Warwick Road, Solihull B91 2AA, United Kingdom.
10.2
You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at https://www.ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
